Born in France to a family of Algerian Jews, we spoke Hebrew, Arabic and French. At high school I had the opportunity to study in Israel, a country which fascinates and excites me. On returning to Paris I started my professional studies in a variety of artistic fields. I studied graphic design, motion design as well as working as an artistic director for several years. In the midst of my graphic design course we had an elective course from two photographers. This opened a new world to me; a world of observation and stories forcing me to look at the world in many different lights.
I am curious by nature and religious by spirit. I find the contrast between beauty/ nudity and nudity/ purity of the soul fascinating. I am constantly questioning my place in the world with regard to my place as an orthodox women in western society and my freedom to express myself as an artist.
